If it's gonna be a big event like this, we definitely have to make it a whole weekend. We could get a huge group discount rate at a hotel nearby any track easily.

Venomous...my brother is in...add him to the list as long as we'll have road corse access. He has a CTSV that'll rip up the 1/4 mile pretty good. I'll check w/ my other friend who has a new Goat. How many are we up to now?

I have contacted a few tracks....waiting for call backs or e-mail.

We need a poll to see what everyone is interested in...road course vs. dragstrip or both.

Both would be my vote....but we will see.

Moroso seems like the best to run both events....road course (2.25 miles) and 1/4 mile dragstrip. :driver:

I am waiting replies back from Sebring, Daytona, and Moroso. Most other tracks could not host both. Daytona and Sebring may not either. :dontknow:

We can go from there. :D

I wsa just lookin at moroso and checking there overview of the track and if i remember corectly from being there that there road cource is gonna be kinda half ass compared to Sebring of cource since ... since sebring is designed for roadtrack only and thats only what they do.. so ya a vote would be kool to see what people want.... but now i look at the tracks it looks liek sebring if even possible to get would be the BOMB totaly amazing track... and not sure if it would be even worth it to do morosos road track ... and if the tracks are close enougth maybe saturday sebring sunday muroso drag strip or a dragstrip near by something like that.. ill try to get a hold of OLD MAN RED and see what he can do to add a poll to this ..


Its an 80 Mile drive between the 2 places map quest below.. any travelers from out of state could stay in jupiter area and we could all
roll to sebring togethere a big posse of trucks and who ever else
we get to come along with us... neway just another thought ... time
to get this all narroed down ..

just my opinion, but I don't think Daytona is going to be affordable unless we have a much larger bunch of trucks running

Sebring would probably only be affrodable on the short course and I really kinda thought we were going more for drag racing not the road course part

Which highlights the importance of finding out what everyone wants to do.
Not going to rent a road course if no one is going to run it.

Having the option of both at the same park is nice.

were just trying to incorperate both events into one ... and trying to figure out the best way to do it... so were not just consentrating on Drag or roadtrack... ... any ideas slick? lol
 
and ya the more i look at it if we are doing a one day event it looks liek moroso is the way to go... say we get there at 8 am run the road cource unill 6pm then run the drag strip from 6pm to 12am... now that would be a sweet day
