Hey, from experience in this stuff, don't leave, hang around and learn from the oldies. I'm new here and have already had a few conversations with some folks and learned a bunch about these awesome vehicles.

Give you a good example, three years ago, my wife bought a PT Cruiser, we went to a meet & greet and felt totally out of place. Now after a ton of money, her PT is one of the top show PT's around, has won more Best in Shows than I can count and as one of the "experienced" we have a ball helping newbies with their PT's.

Now I'm right back in the newbie category and having a blast learning from these guys, deciding what mods are next, so think about it before you leave. I've found the "old folks" on here are willing to help, provide advise and whatever to expand the family.

1) Skip anything that says Hennessey, Mofo or STS
2) Silver is the fastest
3) Any mod that makes you smile is a correct one
4) Silverback tends to be right about everything but headers w/ a paxton
5) Stinker tends to be both right and wrong at the same time
6) Django will improve your ability to master the English language by 25%
7) TheSickness will make you appreciate alcohol
8) Wings are ??????????
9) These trucks run 10's
10) Quiting is for quiters....:D

Look at this Goose. Where else can you go and feel this kind of love for such a short stay. Imagine the love you will get if you stay a while.

Damn dude..Im member number 50 and still feel lie a noob..I havent done squat to my truck except debadge it, and add some curb rash to 2 wheels..I get intimidated by the guys who now more than me all the time..BUT..I have met some of the greatest people ever on here..You need to have a thick skin here sometimes, but these nuts are would do anything to help you in any way you could think of..If you dont know something, just ask..There are no stupid questions..We were all newbees at one time or another..
 
Hey goose, im a noob here too, dont talk tooo much but sometime pop up from time to time. At first I was a little intimidated round here and didnt want to say anything but then I looked around and saw how knowledgable, caring and decent these guys and gals are. Even made it to a gtg and met some of the nicest guys around. Everybody round here busts each other in the balls from time to time but compaired to the knowledge and caring when it counts, i say stay personally, but do whatcha gonna do. Id reconsider because you aint gonna find a better site.

I think you should try the viperalley for a month, just to see what else is out there! lol...c'mon man post up. If it was not for this site i would definitly not appreciate my truck as much, hell some people here don't even own there trucks any more...and there obnoxious(spelling)...and there posts are to long...and they'll chime in any time now...lol. You have to love this place, unless you married to someone who is a member or guest!
