Somebody screwed this truck up!!

They'll find some gullible hayseed in Iowa who doesn't know jack about 10's to pay close to that. Not trashing your old ride Mutt, but for them to ask that price when you can get a correct 10 for less than that is a joke.

they say it was not in a accident... and are not understanding the seats, hood, grill, bumper, fog lights, skirts on the fenders, and wing are all gone... not to mention the holes in the dash from NOS, my guess because the throttle body has bee painted for some odd reason....

i offered 16k and told them if they chose to not tell me of the accident i could sue them, federal law states all dealers used or new must inform byer of a accident, and CLEARLY this truck was in a accident...

OMG I haven't seen that 6MDM intro for almost 30 years. I had like 6 years to go for my pre-teen years to end at the time.. When I got my first pair of Zipps sneakers, I'd swear I could jump over fences and large dogs... Just like the commercial said I would be able to.

DANG IT jake, why'd you go and do that? Now I want to see the show...

Have a friend who's name is Steve Austin...he named his company MDM Industrial.

my truck was never in that condition when i owned it...it wasnt until i got rid of it that it got stripped down...i know they paid 14,900 for it at auction...there is plenty of room to go down on the price...like i said earlier, the intake is only half assed bolted down, if it is the same wheels, they are bent and trashed (looks like they installed new rubber though), the interior is missing the factory seats and center console (wifey now owns them), missing the sub and tweeters, missing the original seatbelts, no wing. the hood is off of a 2005 silver ram 4.7, missing the a/c caps and all of the remaining caps were cut down so the billet covers could fit- sold the covers but left the nasty caps...the oil lines ARE leaking and need to be replaced. cant remeber if i installed the original t-stat when i sold the housing that was powdercoated or not, but i think i didnt install one at all.
there are no sunvisors, and the truck was returned with 5% tint on the windows...it did have a leather headliner but not sure if they replaced it or not...it was missing the gauge and pillar cover on drivers side. there are tons of excess wires where i just cut the accessories out. it needed an oil change when i turned it in and the miles were 34,000. the throttle body is NOT powdercoated but painted wityh wrinkle black which matched the wrinkle black i had on the motor when i owned it....i will try and remember the other details and post.

I was just kidding ;) :D

This is the response i got back from the seller when i asked him about the truck missing the proper SRT parts and commented on the trade in price:

" Wow...regardless of the condition that was a low trade value! I'll have to check on the headliner. After auction fees I have $18920 in the truck. I would sell it for $19,000 just to get out from this truck. Thanks."

Prof, did he intentionally name it that way to mimic the old television series, or was it purely coincidental?

Anthony, do you have a steve austin obsession? :dontknow:

Okay so it's missing a hood, front bumper and fogs, grill, wing (as far as can be seen).. If these cosmetic items were replaced would you guys consider this an SRT again? How much would anyone think replacing these items and paint will cost? Did I see $10k? More maybe? If that is so I agree with not going over $16k buying it as is. I see a need for a carbon fiber SRT style hood and some other significant visual modding. I'm sure it'll generally still perform like a 10. AND it's VIN number likely still has an H as the 8th digit. This truck could very well be a great project for someone willing to take on the challenge.
