UGHHHHH ok well hers the story as of now.. my truck has been at the temple Dodge Dealer ship for all most 9 months now... well my girl friend works at HEB and somoe of the employees cash there checks threw her... well this one dude pipes up thats from the dealer ship and ask's if she knows anything about my truck..and well of corse she said no.... and he goes on to spill the beans saying that the truck has been broken into the whole back window is gone and has been gone for at least 3 weeks or more.. with out a whole back window! so the first question that pops in my head is is there anything wrong with the truck anything missing.. guy at the dealship said everything was fine just missing a back window " I had to call the dealership to find out if this was true or not" anyway my 2nd question for them was WHY IN THE HELL DIDN'T THEY CALL ME and tell me...... i dunno what i'm going to do but i'm headed down there and i'm fixing to explode thats bullshit and chicken shit.....

Man, that sucks arse (to put it nicely).
Go down there mate and straighten it out face to face, firm words are needed, just keep your cool. ;)

9 months AND a broken window without notification. I would get your truck out of there as soon as you can. Sorry for your troubles.

Sorry to hear this. You better make sure that when they remove the broken back glass they don't scratch the paint around it. These are very difficult windows to remove without doing any damage.

Bill.

Sorry to hear this. Yes, it would be nice if the dealer called and advised of the situation. I would pay them a visit, just keep your emotions in check -- I'm sure thats easier said than done. Also, your truck has been at the dealer for 9 months? What in Gods name have they been doing to it -- Rome was built up faster... :dontknow:

shouldnt have called, next time go down there an demand to see you truck

you might want to check to see if the window was broken or did they seal the window in put in a dealer lot truck or someone else truck also make sure they put your truck inside at night. and they give a warr on they window for leaks. When i leave my truck at the dealer i made dam sure it was inside at night cause i told them if i dont see it inside and its outside its goin to be gone in the morning cause im taking it.

hahaha well i just got back from the dealership.. they are taking care of the window it was just the sliding part of the back glass..and yes some one tried to break into the truck....there were shoe marks on the driverside of the bed. nothign was taken or even moved inside the truck.. glass is everywhere.. they are fixing the window and Detailing the truck Inside and out..and the truck has been at the dealership cause they are the people that took my Blown up motor out and will be putting the new motor in.. the motor is done i just need to make 1 more payment and it'll be back in the truck... it's taken me 9+ months for get my forged build over with... but the numbers that have came back from the engine dyno are insane on motor so i think it'll be worth it!

If memory serves, I believe I was the one who coined the phrase "Kablooey Club" .... It was not well received at the time.... but thanks for using it in your sig line..... It is quite apropos.

Glad things are coming together for you..... You are a patient man....

I would call corporate office and let them no you have retained council, and the vandalism to your truck is just the tip of the iceburg, as was prior mentioned, keep a cool head, also mention your huge inconveinance with there 5 star dealer which now is a minus 40 star dealer, dont let get the upper hand. go get em:mad:  :D

Again, many thanks for the acknowledgement and all the best of luck....

One approach you might take with that dealer's General Manager is to ask him how he would feel if he left his most prized vehicle somewhere for service and HE experienced what you've had to endure.... How would he feel.....? What would he do....?

It is a useful tool in these kinds of conflict resolutions......

Again, thanks and good luck, my friend.

Why would you do that? Its not the dealers fault the vehicle was there 9 months, plus when you drop your vehicle off for service you sign a repair order that states they are not responsible for loss or damage. i want to know what you think you would gain by doing this. Corp would not do anything about this situation. Its not a warranty issue or lack of responsibility from the dealer.

TheMoparConnection no where i'v got them by the balls is it's been sitting 3 weeks with no back window...cause no body called an told me that it had been broken into...... so they ARE paying for the damage to the window and the damage done to the interior From the glass and weather....and on another note thats just like me posting up and saying my motor was blown and that it had a N2o kit on it but never sprayed it and some jack ass from this site deside's to call and tell their Corp office..and the funny thing is.... is i proved the dealership wrong from the condition the valves were in they were not burnt on heated up like nitrous does to valves..so they are still footing some of the bill to fix the truck.. but thats just a whole other topic that i will adress to this socalled person face to face one day;) anyway the point is they dealerships fixing it cause it took them 3 weeks to contact me and they doidn't even contact me..... my girlsfriend cashed some ones check from the dealership and they told her what kind of BS is that.. if it was your truck and it got broken into wouldn't you like to know the next day?
