Late Oct. and November should have some cooler weather coming in, perfect for some racing at SAR. For those that were here last month, how did you like San Antonio Raceway?

In Amsterdam until November 10th.. :dontknow: Hopefully this GTG will kick off sometime after that.
Im game for another shot and I think we all get to run for free this time since we got rained out.
This was my first time to ever run anything at a track. I guess I dont know the difference between a good track and a bad track. What was the issue, traction? I had two haul on smashed the pedal to the floor on my first run and didnt spin until I chirped them going into second. I only ran a 13.8 though so maybe I dont count.

Yeah, I dont think there was anything wrong with the track. I mean the real racecars there were running some sick numbers......13.8 is a great time for your first time ever punching the pedal...but in all fairness...driving the auto and stick are two different animals all together....now if i could just get my time that low......i seem to have a traction problem too.....
No doubt about that and I will say I hate a manual transmissions. I was just wondering what makes a track bad. I think that vette ran in the 8s and I know I saw that late model camero run an 11. I used the left lane both times and the first time used the water to burnout. That pass I didnt spin at all. The second pass I didnt burnout and spun the tires well into second. I dont recall if you used the water or not on your run. I did see that nova in front of me on my second pass stand up on the rear wheels.

i did not heat my tires...and went around the water box...i think next time i might spin em a little and see what i get.....on my run i spun through first and second...my sixty foot time was 2.9....my time on the big end was 14.6, but my mph was 101, so i think the power is there to run into the low 13's maybe high 12's.....just have to keep trying.

According to SAR website, they have street grudge matches on Firday only there is a Midnight Madness on the 10 of November the gates open at 8 and they run from 9 to 2am. Don't know if this will be a problem for the out of towners.... Just let me know I game for anything....

3. I went to lonstar and hour after i left SAR(13.80 best run 2.1sixty) and HOT off the road ran 13.40(1.9 sixty), and then a 13.20 after a 30 min cool down... and lone star prep sucks to. If yall really want to try to set some records or get a new best time HRP is best, most of the time they have negitive DA.
