After 67,000 miles I was in need of front rotors and brake pads....I only had this week to get the truck ready to race Friday night. I called Tuesday afternoon at 2:30pm (Pacific time) in a panic as no one in Bakersfield could get anything for an SRT-10 Ram very quickly. The local speed shop here only had access to Wilwood products. So I called Tony at JTS Venom, he got me slotted and dimpled rotors, performance brake pads and they were delivered to my door by 6pm on Wednesday. They were installed today by noon.....I will be racing Friday night at the test and tune!

This will most likely be the last runs on the stock engine. Spoke with Greg Good last night and the heads are about 2-3 weeks away from completion, he is ready for my intake manifold choice so he can port it and port match it to the heads, I will be calling Arrow tomorrow , possibly about getting a Gen V plastic intake. I'll post more on the performance section with a heads and cam update.

*takes deep breath* Scotty, we bonded as we shared some warm Gatorades with labontecsi on the side of a swampy road in Florida near some wooden shack that had midget hookers working in it trying to talk to us and get us to enter said shack one September 2008 afternoon waiting for a flatbed truck to make the two hour trek to pick up his stranded Brutal 10 to take her back to the condos when she was incapacitated after a hectic day at the track, then in Spring 2010 we (the same trio) found ourselves stranded on the side of I-10 somewhere in Florida again after a track day but this time it was #1900's tranny that took a dump so we were waiting for (you guessed it) a flatbed to make the two hour trek to pick her broke down ass up and take her back to the condos. *exhaaaaaaaale*
