Hey guys, I have a 2006 Dodge ram SRT 10 I’m looking for a long tube headers and other upgrades for my engine if anyone’s selling let me know we’ll work out a deal

Check with JTSVP.COM ..Better yet call Tony there . There maybe deals on , yes, Walmart automotive …

Welcome, there are lots of goodies for these now days. I inherrited my truck with quite a few toys on it already.
Bellanger Headers. Real nice, not the cheapest but high quality.
Venom TB well worth it.
Intake does not really need changing, just put a K&N element in
Mine has a Volant CAI, looks ok but not necessary ( I would not waste money on it)
Exhausts are common. Mine is custom made twin 3" system with a couple of short chamber mufflers, electric cut outs in front of rear wheels, twin 2.5" tail pipes with hot dogs. I think it sounds great.
Most people just buy a Billy Boat system or something similar.
I did change my coils as they are weak. Screamin' Demon coils take care of the weakness as the revs get up.
A remap is great too. they come out with AFR 10:1 Can get more power at 12.5-13:1 I used Unleased Tuning Torrie McPhail. Others have used Chris Jenson with good results as well.
I ended up with 600hp. It went really well. HOWEVER! These engines have a few weaknesses. To get the approval from the EPA they had to reduce their emissions. So the ring lands on the pistons are very shallow and because the truck is alot heavier than a Viper the top of the pistons have a habit of separating, jamming momentarily and winding off the conrod and flailing around in the aluminum block wreaking havoc. Hence I have a new engine. It is the second time this has happened to my particular truck as it had a 2005 engine in a truck that was made late 2003. Just be careful how much extra performance you want. If you want more? Start with forged pistons.
Anyway I got away from where we were.
There are some nice mats, tyre (tire)valve caps. Allsorts of nice things without stressing engines. It is cheaper to dress them up than build new engines. Snakeskin rocker covers and intakes etc.
If you put headers on, wrap them as the heat under the hood is a real issue. My engine bay is cold now. They derate a lot if the air temp is not kept down.
That is all I can think of at the moment.
