Hope this hasn't been posted & I hope it was no one here putting the Mopar name to shame......poor, poor, shameful, effort by the Ram driver. If you hate people disrespecting Mopars, don't read the comments under the video. Most of which have no f#%king idea what they're talking about anyhow.

Hardly what I'd call "raced out" but, I guess the mods listed don't have to be the only mods the car has, always plenty of BS, fakes and rubbish on the www. I still think the Ram should have taken it down by a car length plus, easy. Weight to power ratio doesn't mean much at the speeds they were traveling. Nissan Skyline R-Spec or Supra worked, sure, not a 1.3L or what ever Hyundai. Maybe the driver/driving was shit. Who knows disappointing anyhow.

Never give much credit to video races posted on the internet when the poster is the winner...it could be staged or the winner's car is more heavily modded than told....I could easily post a video of my truck smokin a Z06...but in the real world it aint happening..

Another thing, that no one mentioned here or on the comments is how could have got a friend to drive the truck, rent the truck friend drives slow (but not "too" obvious) and you're a *winner* on the Internet lol. True, no sub, no extras, decent weight but still, 500hp+

:bs: Might have to "raise the flag" on this one. This video is the poster child for, "if you like to race, take it to the track". Problem is, the dweebs would have nothing to go home and jerk off to. The controlled enviornment of a track almost completely eliminates all variables except one,....... who's the fastest. In other words, the Hyundai MAY be faster than the RT-10, for whatever reason, but there is only one REAL way to find out.

saw this video before other intersting thing watch the srt-10 it never squats in slightest now which one of us has ever launched and not had the back end squat down? no matter what you do putting that power down the butts always sink down in that video it stays exactly where it is through entire thing = posers lol easy to have your friend never go over 2k rpms in srt-10 and have it beat you

Also note that you hear a 2-3 shift (with blowoff- LMAO!!!!!!) and a 3-4 shift (with ANOTHER blowoff- LMFAO!!!!) in the Hyundai. The guy never puts the Hyundai into 5th.
They probably weren't doing more than 40-50mph.

True, true, there is always a faster car on the road (except for the fastest street legal car in the UK) but a 9 and 10 second car is a totally different kettle of fish, this is a 300hp? Hyundai. I for one care and I don't even own an SRT10 lol From the era of Muscle, these performance cars were built to win (on and off the track).

I agree racing should be left at the track but, it's just another Internet video, no harm done. Besides, we'd all be lying if you said you never put your foot down on public roads, we all do, just part of the hobby. Mind you, there are the correct place and situations, doing 80mph on the highway is fine in the right place, doing a burnout in a busy public street is bloody stupid.
