Today a buddy of mine with a 05' Rousch Mustang auto with a cam, no SC, took on the SRT's, thinking he could take emm. SRT-10 QC with a flash, SRT-8 GC with CAI. Results!!! Mustang got a real good look at taillights of SRT's and thought hmmm, they sound good going buy. Asked for a couple car lengths afterward. We told him, we gave you a couple after we passed you!! SRT-8 beat QC, QC spun off the line, tires were too hard. Still walked the Mustang, GC rocks off the line. After 10 hooked up couldn't gain on GC. Who cares though, its family :burnout:

2 runs, results the same.

Your friend with the Roush needs to learn how to drive it..;)

Yeah, he spun alot. Still fun to bust his balls though. :) :)
His first run he had the traction control on second run off. Results were the same.

rouch stang isnt much of anything though... i love seeing the stangs at the track... heck thats one of the main reasons I go

I creamed a Roush a couple years ago:deadhorse:. I was nervous at first but quickly gained confidence. I think a late model :ridinghorse: 351 Saleen or better yet an '03 or '04 Cobra are more to worry about from the Stang clan.

We were not at a track. Industrial park under construction. 3 abreast. Sounded badass. I drove the Mustang afterwords. I liked it. Not an SRT though. The SRT is just a beast. Probably just over 1/8 mile run. Mustang may have had a chance to close the distance in 1/4.

careful... I have a Roush that might have something to say about this.... She will run low 12s to 11s with the right tires

Nice kills SlvrSnake and Mopar. Would like to see how a stock QC with a good launch will stack up against a stock GC SRT-8 in a full 1/4mile run, or even a top end run like up to 140ish. I would think the QC might be able to close the gap on the top end due to the GC's AWD drivetrain, but dunno. What do you guys think? No doubt the RC is the king of ALL though.

A stock QC would watch the GC rear fade into the distance from the time the light turned green. The GC SRT8 is a low 13 vehicle and launches like a MUFU...I have seen some hit high 12s on the right track under the right conditions....it would be a good match for the RC but the RC driver better be good cause the GC is basically a floor it and hang on racer..................not sure about top speed but I bet the GC would take it...

I agree with you. If I had slicks and he ran street tires it would be close. I did not let any air pressure out my tires and could not get a good launch and spun a little. The GC just launches so hard its ridiculous. Thing of it is once I hooked the GC did not seem to be walking me.

I dunno man, the GC have good E.T.'s but pretty sure the QC still has a higher trap speed. I don't have a whole lot of stock times of each to compare but here's a pretty good one. I know.... I know..... it's a magazine test, but it's done by the same guys and I'm thinking they use the same track.

No doubt the GC has the E.T., what is the fastest e.t. to date for a stock QC? But maybe the QC can catch the GC on the top end cause the trap speed. Pretty sure the QC usually traps 103-105mph. The AWD takes away from the GC on the top end. Dunno, what ya guys think?

Looked around a bit and see low 13's high 12's with a flash with trap speeds around 104. Don't think the SRT-10 QC is gonna take one, maybe with a great launch it would be respectable. RC has a better chance, but it would be real close and you gotta be shiftin MOFO. But gettin beat by another SRT is ok by me.
