...I could be beatin' a dead horse by asking this, but has anyone modded their stock air box by cutting a hole in the front side of it?

There is a thread here from a member that added an inlet to the stock box and used a conical filter.Lots of good pics, too.I can't remember who it was or the thread name, though.Uber cool set up.I hope to do mine that way over the winter.

Modified stock airbox

Here's pics of my airbox. Wanted to stay with the stock appearance. Parts including the K&n were under $100.00.

 Nice work!! With that kind of professionalism you should flange something up for all us Roe S/C boys.... we really need something to get rid of this heat soak... :( Well then again Winter is coming up :)

I could come up with something, but don't know anyone in the Phoenix area with the Roe SC installed.

JMB Justin is working on a CAI for the Roe

I love home brewed mods!

How did you stick that metal exhaust tip to the plastic box? doesn't it vibrate without any bracket?

it has a ring of JB Weld around the hole and it is short enough that it doesn't move. At least yet. It's only been a couple of days.
