Streetable Single Turbo Kits?

LMAO! I just saw while searching that you're Mikey, sorry mate didn't realise I thought you were just someone else pitching in. You'd really fly to New Zealand for a weekend to install a turbo system!? That's some friendly help lol. (Of course at my expense). ;)

How do you like your Paxton mate? :dontknow: They look like a nice system. Any troubles thus far? I noticed on the Paxton site they only do 2004 to 2005 SRT10 Dodge Rams, no 2006?? Also, can you put a by pass (blow off) valve on the Paxton kit?

Thanks,
Carl
I love the Paxton setup,I have aprox. 14,500 miles on mine.Shortly,we will be removing the jumper pumps and stepping it up with Marty and S.C.T..The 06 will accept the Paxton just like the 04/05.
Quick Question-Could you possibly post a picture of your dash,I,m wondering if I could make it work in my truck, and convert to mph from kph.then I would have a 240 mph speedo.:D

I have an 06 with a paxton. I had x-metal do the dirty work. Its tuned to a safe 7psi and makes great power. Its pretty much night and day from stock to a S/C. If u get a paxton ull love it. It doesnt whine like the roes it has more of a constant whistle and sounds cool on or off the gas.

Maybe you could get Justin @ JMB to send you a KIT????!!!

He hit a home run for the Single Turbo.... But, currently it's a house install. :( Maybe if you can get him to perfect a kit version, there would be some other takers. ;)

not sure where at in Fla. But my cousin has an gray 06 rc and he just put on
a turbo kit and not sure about the inturnals but i hear that he was
doing something like 11.6s 11.5s in the 1/4 mile .
I think he had to change heads, cams, crank, pistons, ext....
but for the $$$$ that i heard he spent on a singal setup he could have put on
a twinturbo setup, it was something like $20k by the time it got tuned
And everything was done!

the sad thing was he did all that and my brother smoked him in a lighting!!!!
Should i had put that on there, maybe not!

Lightnings are inexpensive to make fast:( You can have a 10sec lightning for 10-15k HIGH 10'S;)

You have my vote for the STS Turbo kit, and I do work in New Zealand on occasion. Either way, forced induction is easy to tune.

1Badnightrunner-If your cousin is John Young, then that would explain why I got a call today for converting the truck over to an automatic. He has never run the truck and I am very sure he has traction issues with his 6 speed! That truck has an easy 11 flat in it. Just gotta figure out how to drive it.

Doubt it on power, boost is boost, unless your hanging a GT45, but "prettier" looking, I'll hand you that....

boost is not boost .......stinker made 1030 rwhp with twins @ 30 ps1..........i made 1079 at 17.5 psi.........................its all about bein efficent.................

on 93 octane i am 900 rwhp the #s on your personal truck seem real low.....inmho................your 770 pull was that with race gas and how much boost.................a 1000 is easy lets go for 1300

Awesome, you guys have it all figured out, guess I'll have to look into turbo headers to pick up another 300 rear wheel!
if you want i can post a picture ........i wouldnt say that its all figured out......
but as of right now its the most powerful documented ram srt 10 on this forum and possibly the world as of right now

I pretty much taxed the limits of the STS production kits' y pipe. It is a stock STS bolt-on kit pushed to it's max. I run race fuel an anything over 12 psi, because no-one can guarantee me that what is coming out of the ground is truly 93 octane.

Simply stated, at the power levels and install time this thread is asking for, it fits the bill.
