Deibs said:Your able to mount a dual magnet sub? I have a set of 10' Orion HCCA subs and wasn't able to mount due to depth limitations. I'm probably going to go with the 10' Kicker L7's, nice tight sub with lots of "Cubic Inches" to spare.
No i'm not able to mount the subs in the prefab under the back seat box due to the height of the speakers. What i'm trying to research is if there is anyone that makes a custom box for the SRT that would fit a 10" high speaker and have enough cubic feet to accomadate these powerhouse 10's. I would imagine you would have to raise the height of the rear seats to accomplish the cfm's needed. Right now the subs are enclosed in two C4 boxes that sit behind the drivers and victim's seats until I come up with a solution to this prob.
This current setup with only one of the three 2000 watt RMS amp hooked up draws so much power that the alt cant handle the load when I turn it up. The alt guage falls below 12 and then the check gauges light comes on. I am also researching is if anybody can recommend a dual battery setup including a higher output alternater that can charge both batteries at the same time. I will surely need this when all three amps are hooked up.
Any Ideas.......anyone?
