I was in DC Performance today to get some warranty work done for my truck. While I was there I had a ECM that I purchased from a AWDisuzu. Thanks Mike for the ECM and also letting me meet you in Century City. I was called by DC a week ago to asked how my service was on my previous visit and I said it was outstanding. I asked what it would cost to flash my vin and install t-stat. I asked can I get an appointment for 10/16 and I went today.

When they where flashing my VIN a question came up as to if the tune had timing removed as Mike ran nitrous. At that point Dan said I will be back and said he will check into it when he came back. He was test driving a jeep srt-8. I did not know that he had called the shop and had my ECM re-flashed Stage II just like a new customers and was going to charge the price for flashing the Vin!!! He did that just so I would not have problems down the road. Nobody would have done that. This is unheard of in today's world. I thought you have a customer for life. No one would ever do this. Customer service is a thing of the past but not at DC.

While I was there today I met SRTBrad and his Boss. I also met Brandon. I got the privilege to have lunch with Tony and we traded Kidney stories and the good and the bad of eating fast food.

The stage II flash is great. As soon as you turn the key it is a whole different truck. Idle is smoother. The exhaust note is better and you don't smell that rich gas smell. When you take off the heavy feeling is gone from the truck.

I drove home about 15 miles in bumper to bumper traffic with the AC on in 90 degree weather and my oil and water temp never made it passed 180. This alone is worth it. The inside of the cab is cooler.

I found myself a place where no one was around and floored it and now it is alive. There is still a big smile on my face.

I would have never felt this good if it where not for the guys at DC. They have a customer for life and I will recommend them to everyone. We are lucky here in So Cal cause we have these guys close.

Thanks!!

WOW, sounds like an awesome day at DC. I've heard nothing but good about them. If I ever need work on my truck, I would definitely let them work on it

We've met Brad and his Boss, Jayme and they are very nice folks :D :D :D

Glad your day was good and you got to swap some kidney stories, too

It was an Honor meeting you. I told you it was worth every penny on the QC to have the flash and thermostat done. BTW did you ask to have your shift points set to 5500 or are you at the 6000 shift point?

i agree i havent had GOOD customer service on anything in along time. i have to admit i will almost pay double for products if i KNOW the company will stand behind them and they dont forget where they started off at. Much props to SrtBrad for staying down to earth and keeping good customer service alive. What is normal for these trucks (RC) oil temp and water temp?

I know for a fact it shifts at 5500. I checked a couple times just to make sure!!!

Thanks again DC Performance.

Thanks for the kind words and it was great getting the chance to talk to you for a few minutes... I had no doubt that you'd be thrilled with the program and we wanted to make absolutely sure you'd never lose that :D after the first time you drove it (that is, as soon as you got it out of traffic)...

Absolutely let me know if there is anything at all I can do in the future to keep your positive experience with us going!

Nice story:rock: Makes me want a Stage II!

Send them your ECM. Get the thermostat from them. I got to look at the quality of the t-stat and it is a piece that belongs in a Viper. I can't begin to describe the difference it makes. DC Performance will take care of you and make sure you are happy.

It was a nice day for me again nice to meet you Brandon.

I had a similar experience with them a couple weeks ago .I called and spoke to Dan and explained the high engine temps I was having and asked if they could check my ECM with Stage II flash. He said to send it in and they would re-flash it.Not just that, the price he gave was way better than for getting a new flash.

Truly great customer service ! I can recommend them highly.

BTW........now the truck sounds smoother and is running below 180 !!!!!!!!
It also has more power. The logical conclusion is that it was NOT
a DC Performance Stage II flash to begin with.I am very happy
that it is now !!!!!!!

DC Performance rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is great news. I just wish they were a little closer so I could deal with them also.

Get your fast truck over to the Pasedena VTCOA banner signing party on Nov 15.;) BTW does your truck feel like it lost a 1000 lbs with the stage2?

Ship it to them. Call Dan he will take care of you.

Three connectors and three screws. Just take the bottom connector out last. When you put it back but the bottom connector in first then the other two, The bottom connector has the power and grounds.

When you turn it on with the new ECM installed it just starts right up and you will be happy.

Before the flash it felt like I had a big rock tied to the bumper that I was draging. On the freeway I would floor it and goes into downshift and gear change at 80.

Now truck feels light. No drag. On freeway now floor it goes into downshift but truck goes very fast to 100 and keeps on going...

Your going to have to get the Stage II from DC to see this for yourself.

The temp still stays below 180.

DC Performance =

Thank you, but my computer is already as far as one can go. Any farther and detonation will be a big problem.

I remember you talking about how your temps were high with your previous flash. I am glad you sent yours in.

I have always touted my DC stage two flash. All flashes are not equal. DC Perf is a outstanding outfit.
