I was in DC Performance today to get some warranty work done for my truck. While I was there I had a ECM that I purchased from a AWDisuzu. Thanks Mike for the ECM and also letting me meet you in Century City. I was called by DC a week ago to asked how my service was on my previous visit and I said it was outstanding. I asked what it would cost to flash my vin and install t-stat. I asked can I get an appointment for 10/16 and I went today.
When they where flashing my VIN a question came up as to if the tune had timing removed as Mike ran nitrous. At that point Dan said I will be back and said he will check into it when he came back. He was test driving a jeep srt-8. I did not know that he had called the shop and had my ECM re-flashed Stage II just like a new customers and was going to charge the price for flashing the Vin!!! He did that just so I would not have problems down the road. Nobody would have done that. This is unheard of in today's world. I thought you have a customer for life. No one would ever do this. Customer service is a thing of the past but not at DC.
While I was there today I met SRTBrad and his Boss. I also met Brandon. I got the privilege to have lunch with Tony and we traded Kidney stories and the good and the bad of eating fast food.
The stage II flash is great. As soon as you turn the key it is a whole different truck. Idle is smoother. The exhaust note is better and you don't smell that rich gas smell. When you take off the heavy feeling is gone from the truck.
I drove home about 15 miles in bumper to bumper traffic with the AC on in 90 degree weather and my oil and water temp never made it passed 180. This alone is worth it. The inside of the cab is cooler.
I found myself a place where no one was around and floored it and now it is alive. There is still a big smile on my face.
I would have never felt this good if it where not for the guys at DC. They have a customer for life and I will recommend them to everyone. We are lucky here in So Cal cause we have these guys close.
Thanks!!
