The Engine Build

They also go to Arizona. We used to see hundreds in different spots all the way across the 10
The southwest of the country is assume .. Arizona does get hot and they do get snow and cooold .. when I lived in Vegas we took a road trip , of course at the wrong time of year , winter ! Went to Utah , and came back around through Arizona heading to the north rim of the Grand Canyon ( road closed due to snow hahah ).. my car had no heater but we did have a comforter in the car for my 4:year old son .. was a good thing as the snow started coming down heavy and at around mid night in the baron roads running out of gas and nothing opened … found a gas station ( closed ) and spent the rest of the night at the gas pumps hahaha .. snow everywhere i had less that a 1/8 of a tank still to help get some sort of heat .. Well we had to be back in Vegas as the wife had to be at work that night for swing shift … the slush on the road was about 6 inches deep ,,, only a couple truckers drove on the road . 80 miles to the nearest town for the station we spent the night at ( I believe it was called the Gap and a Indian reservation area ) .
Well as we finally go back on the Highway it was the roads had cleared up .. it’s wild after we got out of flagstaff’s and closer to Nevada the temperatures warmed up fast and we were in shorts weather all the way back into Vegas .. Dramatic weather differences between those states .
I’m ticked off though .. made 2 attempts to see the Grand Canyon and both times we didn’t get there hahaha ! The same with Colorado… I’ve been to every state around it but never made it to Colorado .. Time just wasn’t on my side I guess or something was tell me don’t .. only the powers no !

Oh and New Mexico has the or had the nicest rest stops I ever saw hahaha

This I believe! Arizona definitely gets cold cold in winter and hot as haydes is summer! I've been all over Arizona and have experienced it. Never slept at a gas station in the snow though! Hahahaha! Glad y'all didn't wake up frozen!
I know ,l,good thing the comforter was with us .. and my son did get to make yellow snow for the first time hahaha

You had adventures!!

We flew over the Grand Canyon on the way back to Calgary this afternoon. I looked for your SRT-10 but didn't see it.

Without a doubt many many adventures .. lots before my son was 5 years old.. he had been to around half the states in the country. A long time ago hahaha .. Many more for me after 1987 when our divorce happened ..

So just an FYI, My mechanic doing the work on my truck found a grounding wire which was exposed and melted a bit, it was arcing on a fuel line. Thank god his eyes were good.

When you're done with this build i hope you post up a full cost list ? I want to do this next year. And i don't have a big peekaboo in the bottom end.
Yes that would be great to know down to the last Kiwi broken down without all that tariff taxes , shipping , customs robbery . ( but add those anyway to the separate line so us commoners on the right side people of the world will now what to expect just incase we do decide to stand on our heads :D
