Tiny Tips, And Hidden Secrets

Ok OLD thread, but this was EXACTLY what i was looking for...

I think this is a GREAT Idea! :)

Two things to contribute.....

1. You can take the insulation off the rear bulk-head in the engine bay. There is a nice, black plastic trim piece behind it that will clean up.... Some other have done this too.

****ALSO**** Is there any replacement headliner that is still available for the stock hoods? I would like to put one back on before the paint suffers!

Just through any dealership?

Yep, my dealership quoted me like $87 before taxes. I still need to replace mine. I would suggest getting new push pins things that hold the liner on while you do this. Everytime I have removed one of the push pin things about half have broken.

I have 2 hoodliners available, but being you are in the UK that doesn't help you.

These trucks are the best trucks on the road just as they came from the factory! You dont have to spend thousands of dollars to make them better! I agree with you.....the small mods are the most important. You are the only one who has to be impressed with what you do to it.
