So whats the best tires to get for these beastly trucks? I kinda wanna go 325/40R22 rear and 305/40R22 front :burnout: , but i really like the look of the BFG G-Force tires, what do you guys think:dontknow: ?

The BFGs are probably the best if your main concern is traction (dry weather). I talked with several members here that had them and the 2 main complaints were noise and bad wet weather handling.

I have Continentals on my truck and they ride so much better then the stock tires. I can also get a better launch with them.

I don't think there's a. Real cure for wet traction with these trucks except not using first gear, plus I try not to drive this thing in the rain anyway. And as loud as my truck, I believe the only noise I will hear from my tires is when their screamingTNVIPER said:

you're better off sticking to one size. you dont want to have one set smaller than the other since these vehicle are equipped with 4 wheel abs. i have the cont 305-40-22 and i have to say that they are a great tire
I'm running the BFG KDWs and don't know what noise issues folks are referring to. I've had 3 brands on my truck - stock Pirellis, Yoko Paradas, and these KDWs.
None had great wet weather traction, but that's not much of a surprise either. The Yokos were probably the best at that, but the truck was still a handful in the rain. The stockers were noisy, so much so that I replaced them with the Yokos on my trip home from purchasing the truck at 8000 miles.
The BFGs stick where the other two did not, both straight line and in the twisties. With the F&R Hotchkis bars I put on that help keep the tires planted, it sticks pretty damn good - still working on finding that limit.
My $0.02 is that if cost isn't your primary concern, go with them.

I just put BFG KDWs (305/40/22) on my 05 & I have nothing but good things to say so far. Have no idea what noise issues some say they were having. Yes the KDWs were a little pricey but we are drivin a BRICK for petes sake. If you consider the cost of this truck, how you drive it, etc, try not to put the cheapest rubber on it you can, remember, that tire is the only connection between you & the road
I put the BFG's on the in July and they stick to the road in the corners. I have road raced them twice.They are better than the stockers.

Anti-sway bars - I did a writeup recently. I don't have a link handy, but suspect they'll come up in a search by their name.

Bfg's are the way to go if you have the money. They handle way better than any other tire, I cut a 1.7 60' with them. I do notice more road noise, almost sounds like you driving with an all terrain tire on it...
