200/12=16.67 ftlbs... close enough

While we're on this subject , do you need any coating on the bolts like antisieze? Is the dealer only place to get new gaskets?.. Im having my manifolds coated and am reinstalling them

and that was pretty freakin easy math...
Lots of folks get confused with simple stuff my self included. Just use dimensional analysis where you assign dimensions to the numbers which multiply and cancel just like real numbers. So:

[200in.lb]x [1ft/12in ] = 16.67 lb.ft. See how the inches cancel and your left with lb.ft?

Pretty boring Chit huh? Yawn........

The Mac Tools site was all jacked up at the time of this post, but I'm sure they have them too.

1. Yes. Anti-seize is a good idea on the header/manifold bolts.
2. Every time your pull the headers/manifolds, replace the gaskets. TMC or Dragon can get you the hook-up.

I just tightened mine down and drove!!!

all done! found some 3" stainless bolts at lowes (5/16" x 18). the toughest part of course is getting the old rusted sh!t off. also put some stainless hardware where they couple to the mids.removing the wheel liners is a must.... was done in my garage and all i used was a jack and stands!

U putting those alum heat shields back on

Be careful using bolts from the local home center. They are not normally of sufficient quality to be used in automotive service. I believe you want grade 8 bolts.
