installing my jet-hot coated factory headers (yes, thats what they are
)...have one side installed with new stainless hardware, but need to know how tight:dontknow: also tightening from center towards the ends is correct, right?
i've seen posts that said header bolts are to be torqued to 17 ft lbs.....?:dontknow:TheMoparConnection said:200 in lbs
TheMoparConnection said:that might work out to be the same... dont know for sure.. I got that out of the manual.. anyone know if 200 in lbs is equal to 17 ft lbs???
Lots of folks get confused with simple stuff my self included. Just use dimensional analysis where you assign dimensions to the numbers which multiply and cancel just like real numbers. So:TheMoparConnection said:and that was pretty freakin easy math...

1. Yes. Anti-seize is a good idea on the header/manifold bolts.nycstev said:While we're on this subject , do you need any coating on the bolts like antisieze? Is the dealer only place to get new gaskets?.. Im having my manifolds coated and am reinstalling them
