I do have to admit, that when I was younger and single I did wake up and not know what zip code I was in. Does that count? :dontknow: :D

I still wake up that way, but now I don't have wood any more!

haha no that doesn't count. You still knew how to get home I'm sure. On average we had 2-3 packages a day that would be sent to an address that didn't exist. People calling us up screaming saying how stupid we were, etc. Then they'd finally realize they gave us the wrong address.

The billing/shipping addy thing really threw people a curve ball. Trying to explain to them the difference, a nightmare. I guess people don't pay their credit card bill so they have no idea where it gets sent to.

Hey Roy if you want some help with that I have about 30,000 cialis pills on hand.

I think I am beyond help...besides you have to have a willing partner...mine quit on me, but she makes the big bucks so I am a captive without recourse!

Actually one time, I did not know where the hell I was. I did remember that I was East of Oregon City, so I just kept driving West until I hit highway 99. Took me a good half hour to find it, but I made it. :D

While it is an article about driving an F1 racing machine, there is an article in Motor Trend this month. The point made is that even in this very sophisticated piece of racing technology, even the slowest qualifying professional driver completed the circuit 35 seconds faster than the highly experienced test car driver.

There are drivers and then there are drivers...and ten notches above that are the real professionals...At the SRT experience in Atlanta, six or seven of us in Vipers, were following a professional driver (woman) who was in a "300" sedan. After four laps my wife heard her say over the radio "has anyone seen my Vipers?" She was at least a half lap ahead of us...all skill, not nearly as much hp and a lot more weight...

John, you deserve a Viper...great brakes, huge hp, light weight and all pushed around by the seat of the pants...

When I went to the SRT Experience in Atlanta I was following the pro in an SRT4 and it was all I do to keep up...

Her name is Tanya Bourbonnais. Sorry guys- she's married. :)

I was fortunate enough to do 4 'tours' with the SRT Track Experience. Like many, I was one who came in the first day with the attitude, "Sheeeet. I can drive better than these dolts." At the end of the day, a FedEx box showed up- my ass was in it. I witnessed *many* deliveries like that at the events.

Think you're good? Try drifting a Jeep SRT8.
Then try it on bone dry pavement.
Then try it at 80 mph.
Then try it 6' from the 300C in front of you (also drifting).
Those guys and gals are good. Really good.

There are classes you can take, and learn from them. Skip Barber runs them year-round. Very cool folks too.

Silverback: I'm with ya. Each time I leave the neighborhood, I'm amazed that many of the people are allowed on the roads. It's stunning.

Fortunately, I have a vehicle that will quickly get me out of the awful situations they create.
I might be behind Prof, but at least I'm on his tail. :)

I want to but I keep hearing about resonating issues so I want to wait and hear more before I drop that kind of $$ on a shifter... I can't believe that shifters are that expensive now...

Noise in shifters is like the low rumble of exhaust gases exploding in systems without cats....pure music....to the ears of the true gearhead...

The market for any product for our trucks is limited to say the least. Hell, there are not that many companies that will invest any R&D into our trucks as they will only sell a few of whatever they develop. When you only sell a few, you have to charge more to recoup your costs.

We are extremely lucky to have Boomer, that will take the time to develop products for us. If I remember right he had over a hundred front springs made before he found one that he was satisfied with that he would sell to us. Let's just say that those springs cost him $25.00 each. That would be $2500.00 in springs alone, not counting the time to install and test. Then you have the cost of the N/C machines......................

Well, I think you get the idea. We never will have the access to the cheap, and by that I mean low cost, parts that the Ford and Chevy guys do. Just won't happen.
