Tranny opinions wanted !!

OK,I'd like to get others opinions (pros,cons)on Automatic Trannies,what you have,how you like them and the rest of that happy HS !! I know Stink's got them available,and Suncoast,any others out there so I can make an informed decision !!
 
Dennis what I can tell you is the ones I get are built by Jasper, and they agreed to give us a 3 year 100,000 mile warranty and it includes the convertor, also the sun gears are supposed to be billet from what I am told.

So far I have sold two, both are fine, one is in Eddies truck and fixin the sell the third possibly to labonte
 
So from reading alot of these posts I am guessing the tranny is the weak link in the SRT-10???

In the QC, yes.
Dennis, Stinker's trans is the best bargain.

One with an Overdrive and a Lockup Converter !!!;)
 
Dennis, go with Stinker's tranny. You can't beat the price or the warranty. I will eventually get one after my build.

That is one hell of a warranty! What is the maximum amount of TQ yours are designed to handle?

LOLOL who knows:dontknow: all I know is I have been told, whether its nos, turbo, supercharger, if it goes out , they will rebuild it, and do it stronger.:rock:
 
A Suncoast with install and converter will cost you 7K.

That would be fine and dandy if'n I had two good legs that work !!! But unfortunately,I've only got one leg left,and it's getting to be not so good !!!:(
So the automatic is the way I need to go !!!Next will be a Pop Top Topper and a wheelchair lift,that ought to create a conversation on this site !!!!:D

Be the first to put in a powerglide then you won;t have to worry about power, I found a guy who is trying to set them up for our trucks I will dig up his info if you like?

is that for the qc and rc too or just the qc?
have found some sort of t56 conversion adapter to auto but im confused on how that would work on a rc?

he's working on both actually and the qc's are alittle bit easier.

Burnt, I thought I remember fstjack was talking about that, did he get it done?
