I'm currently deployed and before leaving I decided to leave my truck in my garage for the duration of my deployment. This isn't the first time I've done this (previous deployment of 4 months I left my former car and truck the entire time, had no issues). I made sure I left it with minimal gas in the tank and had the oil changed a couple of weeks before I left (it was due). I also removed the battery. My wife decided to back to Florida until January and I was just paranoid about leaving it on a charger and no one being there. When she gets back I'm leaning towards having AAA drop by and throw a battery in it for her and starting it up and then having her run it regularly. Is there anything else with these trucks that I should be on the lookout for when leaving sitting for an extended period? Prior to leaving it was in the shop for 2 weeks getting some stuff buttoned up, including fixing a rear diff seal leak, so leak-wise, all known leaks were fixed prior to storage. Thanks!
