Bro, I work here at Dodge service in DFW, and it just depends on the district manager for DC, some are cool and will replace the steering wheel one time, while others are just pricks and won't do anything but tell you to go to Hell. Good luck where you are, my DM here gave me the go to hell!amtrucker22 said:I still have another 5k miles on my truck before the warranty expiresNeed to try and get the steering wheel replaced also. I am sure they are going to say normal wear and tear on that one though!
I wonder if it will be better for me to just show up instead of setting an appointment? :dontknow:jbilledeaux said:Bro, I work here at Dodge service in DFW, and it just depends on the district manager for DC, some are cool and will replace the steering wheel one time, while others are just pricks and won't do anything but tell you to go to Hell. you still need the solenoid to fix the hunting. I have a good set if any one needs them, cheap.FlyingLow said:Would a shift kit fix this tranny problem or do we need to get a whole new solenoid (price?)?
What he said. The shift kit will make a clogged solenoid MUCH more noticable.Stinker said:kinda a short description Flyn low
a shift kit will increase line pressure and decrease the time it takes the clutch to engage the drum in the transmission resulting in less time for the clutches to slip..
the govenor pressure solonoid has a small screen in it, over time as the clutches wear, the clutch material will be carried thru the fluid, and thru the solenoid and getting caught in the screen causings the line pressures to fluctuate.
