Tubbed the Bed

Hey Dale, what rim and tire size did you end up using on the front of the truck?

I used 20" x 10" on the front. I wanted to match the 20" rears.

The rims I used were ordered with stock backspacing and flange spacing. It resulted in caliper interference. So you will need to order them with more flange depth to create the proper caliper envelop, if you use the same design.

dale, let us know what happened to your motor when you get a chance...... blown up ? damn. :(

we know you have health issues to deal with first.....

Here are all the pics from the tubbing and 4 link. The actual info is buried throughout the thread.

Enjoy the ride.

Great post. I needed to do this but was debating about hiring it out since I haven't ever done it. Your pictures make it very easy. I have both wheel wells out and one side of the bed cut out. I grabbed a piece of junk bed floor from the scrap yard and cut out the ends that blend down to the lower section of floor and am welding them in the ridges that are running into the extended wheel well. Trying to make it look factory. Hopefully by the end of this weekend I have it completed and ready to go back on the truck. Thanks for the post and pictures!
