Looking good Dale.

Any idea when you will be up and running? Still hoping to meet up with you and Eric sometime this Summer. That is, if Summer ever gets here.

I had a tune date of June 21 scheduled with Joe. That was before the delays with the intake manifold. If I do not have the engine in hand by about the 9th, I can not get it installed and run in like it needs in time to support the 21st.

Do you have your engine yet? I haven't talked to Joe in about 2 weeks. I'm still not done but the engine will start going in by wed. Might be able to fire it up in 3 weeks.

Progress on the 4 Link.

Dale, just throw that spare away...it would look terribly on any wheel on that truck...just call for a flat bed...don't ever put that spare on your truck!

man thats a SHORT 4 Link! damn.. hope it rides good.. are you going to run COilovers in the back or run airbags? i mean i know the people doing your set up are top notch but on the link bars i've always done it's been the longer the better but theres is a point where it's to long and doesnt ride good anymore.

Yes they are short link bars. But what do I know? We are going to use Coil Overs.

Looking good. Do you think you'll be ready to fly joe out by the end of the month?
The suspension will be done by the weekend. The engine has not left PBJ yet. It will take a week to travel, a week to install, and about 2 weeks to get the millage in, oil changed, and the N2O installed.

Sorry to disappoint. Keeping the spare was a goal. I may have a matching rim for the spare :)

only reason i commented on how short the links were cause the ones i'v built before we all did long for a good ride. but then agian since your going to be using coilovers ya never know! but at least the link bars are the same lenght lol hahaha i'v seen some shady stuff but that look like good work!

Here is the current progress. The attachment bracket needs to be plated and welded. Then all the tack welds can be production welded. Then final paint and install.

o boy i didn't know it was a Qc.....man i hope your happy with the way it hooks up! should do real good on hooking up but damn the ride is going to suck:( .... the bars are normaly at least 3 to 3.5 ft long on a extended cab Chevy..and it'll ride like a caddy... i'm not knocking your set up cause i'm going to end up doing the same thing to mine.. but i'v done this for a few years lol good news is look like you pinnion angle is spot on! .. i dunno it might ride good cause the qc are way heavy none the less i want to know and i want videos ! hahaha:burnout:

Yea there is so much additional unsprung wieght added that it should definitely be a crappy ride! Nice work though!

Nice.

Now all you need to do is learn how to set up and adjust a 4-link suspension.;)

Maybe you and I go in on some software for doing the calculations, eh? (I'll need it for the Stude.):D
