Underdrive pulley

Having a run a narrower belt is another reason for me to not do this mod.

the one Tony sent with the pulley covers all the grooves that the stock belt covered

when you guys talk about ribs your just talking about everything between the outer edges right??

like i said only looked at v belts before. is the rib the rises edges or the grooves in between. guess i'm making this too complicated, whatever Tony sent seems to work fine, redline it just about everyday it gets driven and no thrown belts:dontknow:

i should probably get my lazy ass to check the PS fluid too, that could be it too

bypass the ac pulley really get you enough to make it worth while?? i would only do it at the track so not horrible to change the belt now that i have changed the tensioner and guide. is it enough to warrant the price of the belt ( which i have no idea how much they cost as i haven't had to replace one yet)

I live in MA so it rarely is that hot to need my AC. Plus it's an occasional driver so if it's ridiculously hot out I can take my daily driver. When it's 100 degrees and humid I'd rather not take it out anyways as it feels like you're dragging an anchor behind it. Although when I had my Viper I would never bypass the AC as the cabin in a Viper gets really hot even when it's only 80 degrees out.

Your loss bud. There is probably no other mod as cost effective as this one, and if you find it let me know!

we haven't had any issues or problems or anyone complaining.

we have had ours out for years and no problems, we ran ours on our dyno and consistanly averaged 10hp gains.

you will have some parking lot possible witwh the steering, most do not notice, only the anal do,
I do warn some that live in extremely hot or do a lot of sitting in traffic to

make sure to keep an eye on the temp gauges, but so far in 4-5 years no complaints, some do , some do not feel the extra 10 hp, its more of a throttle response feel,
either way, enjoy and have a good time:D

I'm not doubting the performance gain. With 500+ horsepower I'm not going to miss another 10. Especially seeing my truck is a daily driver in the summer time. Now if my truck only had 90-300 hp or so I'd be all over it.

It all adds up. The "Combination".
Exhaust (+35), pulley (+10), K&N (+5), tune that's no too lean or rich (+?), TB (+8), indexed plugs (a few %).... you get to see the benefits overall. So 60+ with added power UNDER peak. Big deal!
:D

Cheers!
