Vehicle transport

I understand the point in filling the truck first to bring it your direction, but did they tell you this ahead of time or give you a delivery date before you committed to them to haul your truck? That would be frustrating knowing it was sitting elsewhere when someone else could have hauled it quicker!

They did tell me it would go to Michigan first but, they said it wouldn't set for more than a week (which was a lie). I was extremely frustrated since I had yet to lay my hands on the truck. I was starting to convince myself that the truck might not exist and my credit was shot since I trusted a dealership and shipping company I haven't used before.

I would be dangerously pissed off if i bought a truck and it sat somewhere that long.

I even called the warehouse in Michigan just to ask the guy to describe my truck to me just to know it was real. LOL I went through the motions. I was pissed then depressed until she showed up and I was like a kid at Christmas.:rock:

Looking at the cost to fly across the country and drive a srt-10 back. The fuel, the hotel, the 2 days. Would it be a better idea to have it hauled here on a tractor trailer. if so can you give me an idea on price and give me a connection of someone to talk to. Thanks.

I paid a grand even for enclosed trailer from Indiana to San Diego 2100 Miles.

jeff, we can do this however you want, and i will stand by your decision...but i would feel much more comfortable if we did this face to face and you could acctually see, smell, taste, and driv the truck before you buy it. just what i would prefer. but we cando it however you want.,

oh and no hard feelings if you get one of those other 10's. then i have an excuss to tell the od lady. hahahaha

you will get ten quotes and twenty phone calls ,,if a company called tristar trucking quotes you dont use them they are only a broker ,,i used this to get a company to haul a 3/4 ton from florida i just bought

I have hated you (not really) since this post. I hit that site up. I have replied to at least 15-20 emails a day with "please remove from list". My phone has 5-10 missed calls a day from numbers i dont recognize, and 4-5 voicemails to call a transport company back. Its a fucking nightmare. Kudos to the site for finding so many companies, but this must be a struggling industry. People are going fucking nuts to try to haul my vehicle.
