Very bad news...

ok first off how about some pictures.. the body shop i ued to work at was extremely good at fixing frames.... i just want to see how bad it is.. it sucks but it happends o to often

nah F that I have heard enough lets go jack him up. Do not think I will not roll on this guy. Yea I remember seeing those pics. It was way higher than te normal QC's

Total bs... Sorry for the issue you have. Getting even is always an option. May cause you more pain, but to see him beaten to a pulp may be worth it. Good luck..

How long have you owned it?
Did you buy it from someone local there? Was he the first or only owner before you.
Hell the guy you bought it from could have not known, or discovered it the same way you did, or he knew a good friend at a body shop the got the body fixed under the table.

Either way you have two choices.
(1) Repair it and keep it,
or
(2) Trade in for a 2009 Dodge challenger and be totally thrilled

Thanks for the support fellas. When I checked it on Carfax, it just said that there was a incident, it didnt tell what kind of crash or anything. I left from the Nashville airpost and flew down and met him at Love near Dallas. We pretty much did everything there in the parking lot. I even had a buddy go with me just to make sure that I didnt over look something. Spent about 30 minutes looking everything over before i gave him the check. Guess that i was so excited that I just missed under the car. Drove it back here to Knoxville, and after about a week noticed that the bottom front of the trucks paint was bubbling just a bit. Then the RB4 started eating CD's. After it blew 2 more head units, Dodge told me that the RB4 was not the right radio that came with it. That it was the 6 disc one that was original in it. The dealership helped me out and we got everything worked out as far as the radio goes. Sorry to be rambling, but it just really pisses me off that someone can lie to my face. I will try to get some pics of the truck in a few, just need to settle down by looking at some porn or something

Time for a road trip back... To show him all the problems with the truck. Make sure you write them on your fist so he gets a good look at it... "rock:

Porn is good, or just check the cheating girlfriend thread

yeah, I checked Carfax on it. It said that there was a accident reported on it before. Checked with the guy, and he said that he curbed the wheels and messed up one of them pretty bad. He said that it would be cheaper to just claim the wheels under insurance then buy a whole new set. Hell, I thought it made sense...

Sounds like you purchased with yer heart and ignored your head....

Sue the bastard in civil court.........

Buyer beware, bro.......

Sorry this happened to ya'....

Man I am so sorry to hear about this. Never ever listen to or trust carfax. And my personal rule is never trust what you are told about any used vehicle unless you know firsthand or truly trust the information source. And with any used vehicle it pays to have somebody (preferably a knowledgeable and certified 3rd party) inspect the vehicle before you consider buying it. I sincerely wish you all the luck with getting your 10 fixed up right and proper. If you have any questions or need advise on getting this done, by all means Post up. We'll help.

The simple fact that Carfax showed an accident would have sent me packing. Carfax is so limited in information that anything on it should have been a red flag. Why even run a carfax if you're not going to care what it says?

Not one for wasting words, are ya ? Quite a nice little story, there ! :congrats:

(note on CarFax : they can only report what they can find ,info is minimal at best )

first thing I would have done is climb under it... actually I am with you, I would not have flown out there to even look at it...

How much did you pay bro. Hope it was a heck of a deal.

I paid $24,500 for the truck. I guess that the Magna Flow and the CAI got me going. Plus the 26K miles didnt help either, Just a bad mistake i guess. I will slowly start building it back up to normal. Anyone know of a good cheap drive shaft?...
