My wife and son were driving in our Nitro R/T (40mph) and got hit by a dive-bombing hawk. They were lucky the hawk did not come right through the windshield. My son would have taken a direct hit. He actually swore for the first time in front of his mom! Here is a pic of the windshield.

Good thing nobody was hurt. These same thing happen to me on the interstate a a few years ago but it was an owl at 80mph.

My mother always rides on the passenger side while dad drove. One day she just moved over next to him for no reason at all, just did. They were following a dump truck and a large rock came out from between the back wheels and went all the way though the windshield and front passenger seat. Fluke? Nah Old Colt, God is good sometimes for no reason at all. Your family is blessed.

Wow, glad nobody got hurt. That could have been bad!

Glad to hear no one was hurt there Burt, damn hawks! I just about got a hawk a couple mornings ago, just missed the top pass corner of windshield and clipped the antenna.

Good thing she didn't loose control. Thank God no one was hurt.

I had a bird fly into my windshield and scared the crap out of me (not literally - the draws were clean).

Thank you for your kind thoughts guys. New windshield is in the Nirto. I took my son for a rip in the 10 yesterday.......made him feel much better. :)
