VERY tight steering

Mine is an 04 and it is down right scary to drive fast on curvy roads around here, roads I know like the back of my hands. Doesn't have a problem at all til I get over 100 tho and that doesn't happen as much as it did when I was younger. If you get it figured out let me know!

absolutely bro, i will. glad to know im not the only one.

I dont go high speeds very often at all. im more of a heavy acceleration to the speed limit kind of guy.

do u have any changes to ur steering, bushings, tires, wheels, or allignment or can u rule some of those out?

To the best of my knowledge the truck was completely stock when I got it, hell it only had 2800 miles. All I've done is the tuner, and I'm pretty sure that wouldn't cause it! Still stock ride height, shocks, even the tires are the stock ones!

you know what, i dont drive it that often and take it up to high speeds even less, however i have had it up over 100 a couple times since and dont recll it being as touchy,

we had a late winter and the road and tires were cold for a while, may have been partially that and i have checked the tires since. aired one up and reember one tire had an extra like 5 psi or somethin, nothing severe. but the tires wear normal and and does not seem to be an issue anylonger. i am gunna take the truck out and beat the shit out of it all weekend, so when i get it up to 150mph, i will remember to check and get back to you. nah, J/K.. but iam taking the truck to my parents this weekend and they live in the country, il check her out. but lately it does not seem to be an issue:dontknow:

After I did the poly bushing upgrade I had to relearn how reactive the steering was on my truck. I felt almost the same that it was too reactive, but now after getting used to it I think it reacts really well.

Does this truck have the poly bushings in it?

Do you have the o.e.m. power steering lines?
