Weighed the truck yesterday

Damn I could not believe how much it weighed. Here are my weight adders:

~Aftermarket bedcover (fiberglass)
~Crap ton of sound deadener for the stereo (2 rolls of raamat)
~2 amps, 2 12 inch kickers(speakers way a ton), and a fit under the back seat box (foxbox)
~1/8 of a tank of gas
~My fat ass
~No spare tire

5800 lbs

Has anyone else actually took their truck to the scales to see what it weighs?

Be interesting to see what a stock RC weighs. I've heard that 06 models were slightly heavier......
Either way, these machines MOVE for their size. Show me another beast weighing 2.3 tonnes that does 0-60mph in 5 flat!!

My 06 QC was 6000lbs on the dot. I'll let you know what the RC is when I get it, and get to the track.

I weighed mine at the track one. It was around 5200 lbs without driver, spare and jack. Plus my soft bed cover.

No spare tire or jack with a 1/4 tank was 5320 lbs without driver.

5600 with out me in it. No wing or bed cover and I think half a tank. I am a technician for Praxair and our truck scales are checked and calibrated every month by the state of Illinois. My old truck a 2005 Ram 4x4 Hemi with over size tires on it weighed like 5490.
