Its on mofo's Cruise the 101 through scottsdale...I know where the cameras are!

PS Radar detectors, licence plate cover gadgets, and "invisible reflective paint" stuff dont work on these new cameras... most will work on stationary image cameras however... but I am not willing to purposley try it...

Just got back home. Thanks Scott for taking care of it. I have a feeling you have a lot of experience with this type of stuff.:rock: The 19/20 of Jan works for me as well. I can go talk to Dan at DC tomorrow about a possible sponsorship. One of you AZ guys should start a new thread with the time date and place for this event. I can design a flyer and bring it to Whitesnake for printing. We will need all our ducks lined up in a row before printing the flyers. Maybe more members can try to get a few more sponsors.

Also 1 local guy should be in charge of the event. Scott I would put you down for my first choice if your OK with it. I can help coordinate the event with you or whoever will be in charge of the event.

Keep in mind, the track manager MUST approve the flyers and/any all media, so we will need to get him PDF copies of them, links etc.. they will also put the info on their website.

If I pull the right strings... I know a TV producer who has a show on Fox Sport Network, called - Motorsports Mania, I might be able to talk him into coming and doing some coverage of the event.... and air it on a upcoming show... however its only aired in Arizona and New Mexico.

If we can get Fox Sports to cover this event (A string that should be pulled) we need to step up the production value and make this a world class event. Let us know if this TV producer will commit.

And he just replied... he is interested in covering the event.. we need to find one or more title sponsors who will cover the costs of the production, he would dedicate an entire segment of a show to the event, and feature the sponsors as well.... so I think the value of the that to the sponsors should be there.

We need to find $5k in sponsors (should not be too hard..if we spread it out... )

He thinks that we can get a dodge dealer to pony up the cash....

All we need to do is get them interested... then provide him the contact info of the "sponsors" and he will do the rest...

He said that if the dealer is local we can video the cruz starting out at their dealer, and follow the cruz for a bit, and then be there for the track day...

I know its aired on Direct TV...

Depends on how many we talk to... but i would start it off at $1k, and then negotiate from there...

We could sell it as the more you give the more "air time" you get on the TV Show.

If someone is so inclined. Bobby Hamilton Racing (Truck Series) still runs Dodge I believe. Bobby Hamilton Sr owned an 04 SRT-10. They might be a good pick.
