The best bang for the buck is DEFINITELY to buy one that somebody else has already put all their hard earned bread into. The chances are you will pick it up cheaper than a standard:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

flash lot of people seem to have probs withe the sct stinkers advice is what i would do

What problems are people having? I think the SCT is much better then a flash. They both do the same and you can change your tune in a matter of minutes. If you want to get a new tune for the PCM you would have to send it off to be reflashed and usually have to pay each time. Most of the SCT's will give you new tunes for free if the changes are minor. Plus you can dyno tune and email the results to your tuner and he can email back the changes so you can see the results right away.

Thanks for all the info people.

I can't get a SC, I have 3 kids to get to the car shows and I'm way too lazy to change gear too.:D

How do you lose the cats and whaddaya put in their place????

Will this put the engine management light on???

Forgive my ignorance, I'm used to carbs and fins and don't know much about technology.

If you lose the rear cats then nothing else is needed. If you take off the front then you need either sims or have your tuner turn off the rear sensors with the SCT. Not all tuners can do this yet. Roe Racing can and they have great service. That is also the advantage of the SCT. It can read and clear codes from the check engine light.
