Making retirement age isn't a guarantee. Boy would it suck to die and have $300k in the bank.
There are so many other things that make better investments than cars. Hell, Legos are better than some stocks.

Good point. I still don't see this truck being driven daily or often though. There is a reason why the seller has 250 on the odometer, and likely the buyer will have it in a temperature controlled garage with a cuddle blanket next to all his other low mile toys.
