What times

I love how everyone says the paxon is the way. Last time I checked, a Roe had the fastest time :). If a tuner works on a cog type of system to allow for 13-14lbs of boost to be ran....watch out.

yeah...fast.....oh and from you own post it fucked up the motor as well....

the roe design is flawed for the truck application unless your want to do an entire rear end conversion....on the street which accounts for 99% of most peoples driving....the paxton is far superior....
 
It screwed up my motor, hmmmmm, guess those guys on viper alley who complained of having the oil pumps going out on them just had bad luck? One of hennessey's main engine builders spoke with my father this week at PRI and said they've had the oil pump fail on quite a few viper applications.

I'm honestly don't think one is far superior to the other. I do believe that a Roe and Paxton making the same power, the paxton will lose. Simple law of physics. Right now, nobody has a way of making more than 8-9lbs of boost with the Roe, hence the limiting factor. The paxton is a good kit and can make a lot of power, but it isn't the ONLY way to get down the track.

Just to let you know, if we ran against each other on the street from a roll, the "traction" issue you bring up isn't an issue. 95% of the races I've done were on the interstate, not sure about you. On top of that, with EITHER application there isn't a whole lot of places to open them up and be safe.

Also mike, it is my belief that ANY power adder that is running off the crank, has the chance of having the same issue. It is a theory and that is all. It could have simply been a faulty pump and the result caused the other issues. Chicken vs egg.

I've done what I set out to do. I have the fastest quad cab, that is all I wanted to do. Time to move onto something else. Good luck with your build. You guys can get your panties out of a wad soon, Blake will be setting the new mark very shortly.

You guys can make it as personal as you wish. I'll stick to talking about the facts of the trucks. The funny part, no matter how much you bash me, my truck, roe or anything else, I still have the fastest truck right now :)

If you guys really want to talk about the best application, then I believe you all have forgotten about the STS. Cranking the boost up just a little I was able to hit 12.4 @ 114 on the stock tires. I believe with slicks I could have been sub 12. Which is not bad on the stock tranny and no meth or inter-cooler. So you Roe Paxton guys need to recognize, Beyotch!!!!!

Hell I forgot tell you guys that in the next 2 months I'm getting some new fuel rails from stinker and a VEC3. Then I'm adding some meth. Then it will be on. I predict 11.4 on stock tires.

I will just make sure I run meth and leave the boost at 5psi.
 
If you do some weight reduction you can achieve mid 11s on street tires....
