I guess I am just a snob, but putting a truck with the capability of the SRT 10 on a $114 tire just does not make sense to me.

Kind of like putting the cheapest oil you can find in the engine or putting in regular gas...

But different strokes for different folks. Enjoy...but be careful, please.

Talk to any tire expert and the consensus is the cheaper the tire doesn't mean the worse they are. The average consumer thinks $$$ = better but in most cases the "cheapest" or for better wording, unknown/unheard of brand tires performed just as well as and in many cases better than the "big brand names". Look at how many people dislike the factory Pirellis, a huge % of us do yet they are worth more than a small African village to purchase. Label bashing for tires isn't a win, win situation. The only way to get the right tire for you is to buy and try, period. As you say, different strokes for different folks.

As far as rating goes it's Z but Z has 3 different sections to it. There's the standard Z (149mph), ZW (168mph) and of course ZY (186mph). When they (who ever made this system up) created this rating style system, they hadn't factored into the equation that cars would be going faster than the standard Z limit.

I really like my bridgestone dueller alenza's with a w rating. I drive mine everyday and they handle it all and have great grip when laying down the hammer.
