a couple weeks ago my older son decided to do some custom work to my truck with the garage door....I took advantage and got all the black plastic pieces painted to match the rest of the truck...i am not crazy about it...i have to get use to it i guess...i will take better pics when its not raining...

i also changed my shifter to a b&m with a heavy shifter ball from tmw performance....what a difference...i like it way better than the jtsvp gen 1....

last i went back to a bbk throttle body....throttle response is better and the slight hanging is gone....i polished the top of it to match the rest of the engine bay

i also ordered a new intake and catch can...should be here by Thursday...more pics to follow

I think it is a clean look.:rock: I hit third better with the Gen 1 than the B&M, but that is just me. Some folks that have driven my truck can't hit third at all.:p

I like the red mirrors and door handles!!! Shifter and shifter ball look professional as well!

I love it and would do the same if it were mine. Or I'd have done the same in black knowing me. Either way is better than factory textured grey crap!
I say give it time, it's different and I like it:rock:

I've always enjoyed the black trim to contrast the red, but maybe just because that's what I'm used to.

Shifter and TB look great though.

Which intake and catch can did you order? Did you already get rid of your old catch can?

What are you doing with your oe airbox cover? Truck looks great BTW .....

Looks good E

From my experience hitting third has more to do with seat position than the shifter, for example if my seat is a few inches too far back when I try to hit thrid I have to lean forward ever-so-slightly and it causes me to push the shifter to the right missing the gear almost everytime

Painted looks way better, I'm going to get mine done next time it's in the body shop, now we gotta link up

Looks great! What TB did you have on the truck before?

I was gonna keep it for now... unless someone make me an offer for it...

I only missed 3rd with the stock shifter once...but my seat was all the way back...with the heavier shifter knob it feels alot better....

I had the one from jtsvp....

Looks great! You are going to have to update your sig pic!:D

I love it. I wasn't sure about the painted mirrors, but your newest picture sealed the deal. I'm also digging the weighted shifter ball. Seems some people prefer the Gen I while others like the B&M.

Did you sell the JTSVP TB and could you post a close up pic of the red/black airbox lid? Thanks.

I like the red door handles but I don't know about the mirrors yet. Maybe it is the extra black from the rain covers on the doors that is making it look odd to me.
