Got the truck back anf it is good to go... turns out all it was was the transmission dipstick tube hitting the firewall <whew>

yeah, no kidding (although a new crate motor would have been nice)... trucks seems to be running better too

What about the guy that test drove it before you... thought he was sure there was issues with the truck? Wern't you questioning the sound of your exhaust as well?

he simply replied back on the other forum "you have got to be kidding..." and then "Well im very happy this deal worked out. Still pissed at gunn for passing it on to you, but at least, and i mean at least, it wasnt a major issue..... "

yes, i originally had a question about the 10's exhaust note, but got side tracked by the noise... stock manifolds, second set of cats cut out, magnaflow 2-in-2-out muffler and 18" tips... sounds like a civic on steriods LOL
