Who has the best fuel economy?

after the blower install and sct tune, getting 26.3@65mph on 70 mile round trip recently .

got 460 miles out of one tank

get a supercharger and save gas!

For those that were asking, The Strikers, Jesel roller rockers and cam swap provided a 20% increase in fuel economy. This is CITY driving ONLY.

This is a pen and paper (per tank) calculation and not the overhead display.

I will post the results once I have a chance to go on a highway trip. It should be over 20 m.p.g.

Thats pretty good man. Truck sounds like its a blast to drive too, if I could get 20mpg out of mine I could justify keeping it. not sure if my wife is going to let me spend $8k to get the better gas mileage:D

Don't think we can use the words "fuel" and "economy" for any vehicle in the same sentence anymore. :(

i made the drive from Valencia California to Ausin Texas and the onboard telemetry said she averaged 21.2 mpg.

Road racing the supercharged water/meth injected SRT Ram at Hastings Motorsports Park last year I was able to get 3.9 mpg. I was aiming for under 4 and I got it!

Right now, at current prices here, $8K is LESS than 60 tanks!:(

By this summer, it will be 45 tanks and the Striker setup will look like
the way to turn the SRT-10s into economy machines, well, maybe not....;)

It is a blast to drive.
The tracks open soon here; I am waiting on wheels/tires too.

Would head work help fuel economy? (port matching and polishing) or would it consume more??

I get around 10mpg in city and around 13.5 mpg on hwy(75mph)

Hard to say...lots of variables.
The o.e.m. (Viper) combustion chamber is likely the huge hurdle in that equation.

On my 500 mile journey from Kokomo, IN to Wash DC, after I picked up the new truck, I averaged 20.1. Since, then I haven't seen that number, it's down to 9.3 :( . Oh well. As with anything else, performance costs $$$$.
