how big a shot can i run and be safe? and how much time will it shave of my quater mile time?

"Be Safe" is something none of us want to quote and you take as the bible. But I can tell you that I have made 30+ passes on a 150 shot with stock timing, stock fuel pump, 93 octane and cooler plugs and have not had any issues with detonation. A 150 shot shaved a whole second off my time.

I agree you can go 150 - I would make sure you look at each kit and ask questions - I have NOS kit and no issues yet! Need to upgrade clutch after a few runs LOL

I run a 125-175 shot with zero problems.(stock everything else) I do have 2 step colder plugs. I also run a few gallons of race gas in with the 175 just to be safe.

You Juice guys kill me, get off the bottle yeah babies. ......ahhhh just remembering when I use to say that :)

I recently started running a 150 shot without any problems, the stock pcm and colder plugs are the only thing that I changed. I was talking to Rice Eater offline and he helped me through some of my question and problems. I've yet to take it to the track but I can tell you there is a hell of a diffrence once the juice kicks in.

I have the express2 setup and the K&N CAI ready to be installed. I am just waiting on my exhaust setup before the install. I am going to go with a 50 shot only. I've heard that the 150 shot on a stock engine and stock auto trans is pushing the envelope.

I ran a 50 shot first and the difference is not all that much. I guess a 100 shot is the way to go and for added protection run the juice with a window switch.
