Yeah, did some research beforehand obviously... we're getting the sled ready for licence plate with (vintage) V8 & trans, then (only then) the real fun starts.... complete frame off, I only want to do this once
Most likely the firewall will need some mod's, don't think the ten will fit otherwise. I was just wondering now how I can get the PCM (any OEM type) to work. If it is VIN independant it should be a no brainer right?
You guys know which sensors (appart from those ON the engine) I need to connect/use without a complete re-program of the computor?
decided to look for a real lead sled for my old days...
After some looking arround which was still affordable i found a '49 in the bronx NY. It arrived a few weeks ago in Netherlands and is now ready for the remaining restauration in Belgium...
unfortunately it got dammaged during transport (nose) but that can be fixed with the insurance money
it should fit. PCM is good for all models.
