I purchased the factory manual and found that
there is a procedure for turning off the seat belt chime.
It did not occur to me until too late, that I should have
looked around to see if any neighbors happened to be out.
Bottom line, if you were to observe someone conduct the
procedure without prior explanation you would be convinced
that person had lost their faculties.:hahaha: :eek:
 
its in the owners manual too in the seatbelt section. my first mod when i got home from the dealership

mine is a 05 and the chime is turned off too
 
Damn I hate the chime, turning it off today
 
I have a 2005 and have the chime feature turned off.

Stupidity claims the intellegence no matter what the age...I thought I just had to drive for 5 minutes then it turned off;) Thats why I like cars from the 50's...they have the best seatbelts.
