I haven't checked the ohm's on the harness yet no. That's really not my specialty. I could do that if I had some kind of diagram to the computer. Or I could try to chase them all back too I suppose. I'll check the harness for rubbing too. A resistance check could indicate rubbing if I'm getting...
I had a cylinder 4 misfire which lead me to change plugs, wires and coils with Tony's products and put OEM plugs back in (gapped to .045). The truck ran PERFECT for 2 days. Without warning, I started it cold one morning, and I could hear it wasn't running right again. I drove it all day and the...
Well the injectors from cylinder 2 and 4 are swapped out, so hopefully the CEL comes on and throws a code for cylinder 2! Crossing my fingers...can you run injector cleaner in these trucks? I was thinking of doing it, but I didn't know if it's recommended or not.
Will do. Gonna swap it out tonight, clear the code and hopefully it will misfire on a different cylinder. Thanks.
PS - Any ballpark idea how much OEM replacements are?
So I replaced my plugs, wires and coils a few days ago with Tony's wires and coils. I went with stock OEM plugs also. I initially had a cylinder #4 misfire code and that's what started this whole replacement process. Everything was reassembled and I had no issues for the first two days of...

The truck is finally back together as of an hour ago and running amazing! No more CEL, no more vibration at idle. All fixed. And I can't forget to mention that the powder coating looks great. Pics will be up in a day or so. Thanks for all the help and advice guys!
I purchased the coils and wires from JTSVP about an hour ago. Looking forward to getting all of the parts and getting this truck back on the road. Thanks for all the help on here.
I just got done doing the search for the same thing. A lot of people on here have recommended JTSVP coils and wires with OEM Champion plugs...I'm listening to the advice I've gotten and ordering them tonight as a matter of fact. Get ready to pull your intake manifold to do the wires. The coils...
I have a cylinder 4 misfire...it's not the plugs. It could be the wire or it could be the coil. Regardless, after taking the time to pull the manifold, I'd rather get everything new (not to mention upgraded) and not have to replace the coils later on...Not to mention I would have to buy intake...
So definitely Tony's over Demon? Both sound like they're pretty similar. I just want whatever is gonna have my truck running excellent when it's all back together. And not to ask a dumb question but when you said Tony's wires, you mean the JTSVP Series wires, not the Dodge Viper 1400s right?
I'm in the process of replacing coils, plugs and wires and I'm looking for recommendations. Everything I've read seems that people are happy with their individual choices or preference. I'm looking at the Screamin' Demon coils and Live Wires and also the JTVSP coils with OEM wires. I'm running...
Just as a little update, I pulled the intake manifold and the valve covers yesterday. I checked the valve springs (as recommended) and they're all still in tact luckily. So the tune-up is getting done as soon as the parts come in. Hopefully this does the trick. OEM wires and stock plugs are...
Jeff, I've read through the posts, but let me just get this straight...You can still get them, they're $18.50ea and you get them as requested? Also you have to be in the registry first is that right? I have an '06 NightRunner. Truck #161/400 and I'm interested in one. I guess I need to figure...
They look like they're good quality. Are you happy with them? I haven't checked out OEM pricing yet but if they're more than stock pricing (besides the look), are they worth the extra coin?
