Price to ask

I hate to be a Dick. This is as bad as somebody joining just to sell their truck, he just did it backwards. Comes on here and does the dumb act. Doesn't know anything about these trucks value. He knew what the loan value, retail and every other value before he came on here to have his ego massaged about the great deal he was getting. Nobody buys one of these with out doing some research on them. Hell, Jeeps don't get very good gas mileage either and thats what he traded up from. Nobody and I mean nobody buys their "dream" truck and wants to sell it 2 days. Now he's actually putting up for sale in the discussion boards. Gas mileage is the deciding factor, I call BS.

I didnt put it for sale? and i could care less about what anyone thinks about the deal i got. i was just trying to get opinions on what the best thing for me to do is and there are so far some great guys on here that are giving great opinions. i do know about the truck and its value. but, if this is going to cause a problem, contact the admin and have him delete this thread and no one will hear from me again.

seems a little fishy to me as well. you have asked for opinions, and when the opinion is one you dont want to hear you get a little defensive. just sayin. also you were told that you should hold the truck until gas prices go down, then if you still want to sale to do it then. just to let you know, gas prices are not going anywhere for a while. as far as a 10k profit on the sale, good luck, you may find the right buyer , and get it. if you want to unload it a little sooner you may look at a little less of a profit margin. good luck with your decision. this is simply my opinion, so please take it as that, i am not knocking you or your thread.

Thanks for your opinion, that's what I'm going to do. It seems to be the most popular choice and I think after hearing everyone's opinion on it, I will hold onto it. Thanks everyone
 
I think the worst part is you ripped off your buddies dad that passed away... Now I dont know the details, just seems pretty shady by the info you gave in your other thread. It wouldnt be as bad if you kept the truck. But I'm sure he's cursing you from the grave for flipping it on him. I know I'd be!!!

I had never met the dad that passed away. My grandmother was friends with his wife and told me that they are selling the truck, and they gave me the price they were asking so I jumped on the deal. I'm keeping the truck for a good while.

Well good luck with the truck. Im sure the longer you keep it the more attached you will become. I know the first time i felt WOT i feel in love for LIFE
 
I think you boys unmasked this fellow, looking for a quick flip, making nice nice for a day or two, then BAM,.... "Oh I'm selling"..." gas mileage, you know,...any nibbles at 25?" .... ................... Geez, my truck gets better mpg than my '04 Denali.
Before anybody rips these trucks for "mileage" just think about the enthusiasts in Europe where gas is twice the price.
Just saying.....:D
