Sound Clip-Deleted Muffler-WTF???

Its not the muffler thats makin it two quite man. Its the 4 cats!!!! My truck on magnaflows worries me that i will be pulled over for it being to loud! And dont forget you got a 8.3 v10 there will never be a v8 rumble sound its gonna have a little raspyness in the sound

I deleted all the cats and used a factory muffler and it was about perfect
it was cheap and easy
had a deep tone but not annoying or loud. (that is without the resonators that came on 05's and maybe 06's)

The factory muffler is wide open and straight through.There is no need to waste money on a MagnaFlow.Besides, a factory muffler sounds better.

A V-10 will never be as deep and have the rumble of a V-8.

Unless I am wrong...and that has happened a time or two...the SRT 10 belonged to Gary Virgin of XMetal in Evansville, Indiana. That was quite a weekend...spinning office chair and all!!!

thats was the nationals Roy. 2007. if you look at the light thats my QC. the spinning office chair was in evansville...same weekend had the two crazy dudes from georgia

An "H" pipe gives more torque than a "X" style and still sounds great.

both were great times...lol i dont know if youve seen it or not but Gary posted on a thread about Tony on Viper Alley. said some stuff about us redneck truck owners. i thought more of him than that. i know he is pissed at Tony but to lump all of us in one group. i lost a ton of respect for him back when he put the screws to IH8CHVYS and Joe but that the other day was uncalled for. He liked us well enough to take our money, now we are beneath him.

the best sounding muffler/catback hands down for low rumble is B&B....... spend the money & you'll be happy. :rock:

B&B is a local manufacturer here in Phx. Its bolt on and as close to V8 Rumble you'll ever get. BTW....Maricopa still requires cats and yes they do a visual inspection. In the mean time I'm glad your on the west side while I'm on the east side....don't have to listen to your loud obnoxious truck.
