Danked on a SRT-4

So my truck is running in limp mode due to some wiring issues still but i drove the truck to my moms house to keep in her garage for a bit and while on my way there a Red Neon SRT-4 pulled up next to me and started reving the crap outta his car and blowing his blow off valve at me so i couldnt resist. I was in the left turn lane and he was suppose to be going straight and when the light turned green for me i gave the truck a little burp which caused the neon to change his mind and go left with me i was just crusing 40mph waiting on the neon to catch up and the moment he got to my bed i hammered down (got a huge woody too) and the poor neon fell back a couple cars. Soon as i got to top of 3rd i let off since my truck is running PIG rich in limp mode lol. We got to the red light and he wanted to try it out from a dig but i knew better then to try that with the truck runnin the way it is haha. I cant wait to get this thing running right so i can do this daily :rock::rock: I just gained 10x more love for this project VT hahaha.

By the way this was in Fountain Valley, CA :burnout::burnout:

Yea i know. I had a buddy that had one when they first came out and he had a built motor and big turbo. That thing was stupid fast. The dude in the srt-4 was a young pimple faced kid with his little gf too haha. Thatll be the last time he tries playing with a big boy again hahaha

I need to get this thing running 100% so i can take it to the track and see what she does. Im much much lighter then a normal qc 10.

YES I know this little shit in a WS6 tested me in the QC yesterday afternoon on the way home from work. He was on my ass when I got in to her and I pulled him by 2 car links and he stayed right there. Best part is did all with the A/C wide ass open. Man I love this truck the more I drive it......:rock:

Former Neon (SRT) owner here. While it was a fast and fun little car (420hp to the wheels) don't think I would own another one. No matter how many "nice" cars I killed, at the end of the day, it's still a neon. It was a CE (#002/200) and I had paid a lot of attention to detail with bringing the E-Blue Pearl into the engine bay and the interior, but again, it was still just a neon. They can very easily be stupid fast though. I know I wouldn't run against one before seeing under the hood first.

The one i played with definitly wasnt lol. It has a looooud exhaust and very loud blow off valve but my trucks a qc and feels like its making less then 300hp and he couldnt keep up lol

there's a local kid with a red srt 4 with silver stripes and black wheels. i was on my way to work one night bout 2 weeks ago, saw the lil neon and he had his girl with him and the same thing happened. he pulled on my driverside and was messing with that blow off valve and wanted to race......i have a QC too and i whooped that ass by 3 or 4 truck lengths before we hit 3/4 mile or so. shit wasn't even close....i slowed to see the look on his girls face but they made a quick left turn and bounced outta there.....to me, it's nothing to brag about cuz after all it was only a neon.:dontknow::burnout:

i didn't get to see what he had under the hood but he had some ricer purplish neon looking headlights tho.....pep boys special! vrrrroooooommmmmm
