So, have scoured the threads looking for the perfect exhaust setup. And after all that reading I decided to give it a shot myself. This is what I cam up with..Since our V10's cannot seem to produce a low rumble that a V8 offers, I decided to stick with what works, First, I deleted the rear cats, and this is what really made the difference. Next, I pretty much hacked off all the stock exhaust and ran TWO singe in, single out 40 series flowmasters. Next I decided insted of running the exhaust all the way out back, I would just do turn downs to let that exhaust echo off of the pavement. No H or X pipe, no headers, no 2000 dollar cat back, just delete the rear cats, run two flowmasters, and be done with it. I know some people will agree that flowmasters are NOT the best option, but when you are on a budget, they really come in handy. The sound..at idle she sounds like a V8 with a huge cam, putting around town it still has a pissed off v6 kinda sound. WOT…unbeleivable, for the money, and in comparison to the high dollar systems out there, I could not be happier. Im just glad I got something right the first time. I have only had this truck for a week, and for all the new owners I would highly reccomend this routs first and see what you think. Ill post some sound clips and videos soon. BTW My truck is an 05 QC. :)

I have had flowmasters on my Javelin and I loved how they sounded. I have heard them on a 10 and I'm not a fan, but if it works for you thats what matters!

Yep, even the guy at the muffler shop said they wouldnt sound all that great, but with the cat delete, turn downs, and CAI it suprised all of us. Its so hard to drive slow around town because when you punch it, it sounds like demons are coming out from underneath the truck

Personally I prefer the 8.0 viper to the 8.3, more destinct sound when the cylenders fire where the 8.3 all kinda run together

I know a lot of people are not fans of Magnaflow but ive had nothing but good luck with all mine. Sound is great on them too

Same here....deleted cats with dual in/out magnaflow and I have no complaints on the sound. Whether it is low idle, mid-range or WOT...I love the entire sound range.

Mine is duel mufflers. 3" in/out round mufflers with 3" x-pipe and it sounds PISSED off and any RPM including idle lol
