Has anyone done a run on the dyno, then put on an underdrive pulley on with no other changes and run again on the same dyno in the same conditions? What would be a practical gain? 2-3whp? 5-10whp? 10+?

Remember its not a GAIN per se, but rather a freeing up if power already there, but yeah 10hp wouldn't surprise me. Again, with me, it's about what it'll show at the track;)

I cant wait to get back to the track this year, still got a little bit before all the snow is gone up here though!

rottenronnie dyno'd his UD pully set up a few years back. If I remember it was in the 8-10hp range. He is on a plane right now, so I can't ask him.:)

That's the goods!!! It'll be a nice increase after this volant CAI. Quick question, any noticeable gains after CAI install?

most of the cai's with the exception of jmb's have been shown to decrease or make no difference at all. drop in filter gains more than most of the intakes except jmb's

Ditto ^^^^^^^

I didn't gain or lose with the ud pully. Since then, I've gone with the ac bypass belt (NBH 25070622). Don't know if that made a difference or not.

The pulley itself will net you faster times. Bypassing AC "short belt" will also net a slight increase. As we all know, each tenth helps :)

There ya go! Ronnie is reliable as US Mail :D

If you are waiting in line for your turn at your assault on the 1/4 mile, there is often a lot of starting and stopping the vehicle as you move up in line. By the time you DO actually get to make a pass, your alternator is often under full grunt mode and is trying to top up the battery. This the prime time for an U/D pulley to really shine!

It all helps and there is ZERO doubt about the U/D pulleys ability to reduce drag.

PS I don't know how reliable your postal system is but I will strive to be better.. :)
I have a VERY important piece to my Yamaha drum kit coming through your postal system, so I hope it gets here intact!
