Dyno tuned.CAI, cat back, venomous pulley

feel the deep burn...

I apologize for the blurry picture, but that's my 05 QC, bone stock with CAI, on a dynojet. 403hp/436tq to the wheels. My numbers are very consistent with what other members have dyno'd at bone stock on a QC. As everyone has said, yes a dyno is a tool for tuning, but his baseline dyno numbers cannot be accurate, not even on a RC. One member, FlyingLow I think, has a built QC engine with cam and he's barely over those numbers the OP posted. While I agree the hp/tq gains the OP gained are real, the baseline numbers and final numbers are not accurate. And now he's going to go around saying he has that much hp and tq. His truck would be like the ultimate factory freak out of every SRT-10 ever built. This truck needs to go on another dyno with different operator. I'm not buying his baseline numbers or final numbers. I do buy the gains, just not the actual numbers.

I agree, and my truck has track time. I'll be dynoing this Monday on motor and on spray. I'll post up dyno charts so we can compare. I have a stock motor with 103k with most bolt ons I know of.

Not calling BS, but dyno shops sometime pad their numbers to get more business. Not saying that's the deal here, but it happens. :D

Same. 13.9 stock with around the same mileage at the time. I now have around 122k, but was around 100k when I ran on the track. My dyno numbers and track times are consistent with what a bone stock QC should put down and run. Like I said, I do not believe the OP's baseline numbers. I'm not blaming him, just blaming/calling out the dyno and operator. Now if the OP hits the track and runs a low 13/high 12, then ok I will consider those numbers to be accurate. Until then, calling BS. Not calling BS on the 2hp/27tq gain or whatever it was, just questioning the baseline and peak numbers.

I have headers, TB, no cats and I don't THINK my numbers will be that high.

Hell with full exhaust, TB, UDP, and a cam going on this summer, I don't even know if my numbers will be that high lol

Shit if Scott's pulley adds that much power that will be the best $235 I've ever spent!

It's still slow!!

it was... but then she wanted to go toe to toe with the jersey wall on the highway... but she'll soon be back... with a new dress;)
mine? i'm embarrassed to say out of damn near an off the wall guess of 300 passes down the 8th, i've never got to get her down the 1/4... my best street tire run was 8.31, and i think it was 86.XX mph... that's full weight, toyo street tires, full air pressure, full tank of gas, and a 1.9XX 60'... same thing i'd pull my trailer with... it was a solid mid 12 100k+ mile work truck:D

nothing wrong with stock... if it ain't broke... then you have no excuse... it's a driver mod;):slug:

That's darn good man. And I'm with ya on the sotck shifter. Haven't missed a 2-3 shift in a long time, but, I do take my time with that shift most the time. My best 1/8th on street tires was 8.37 is all. Wondering what it would have been without the stupid havy fiberglass bed cover though. I am hoping to do a new best on street tires and on DRs in a couple weeks at a track that actually preps(Rockingham, NC)

Ok, let's get back to reality and the fact that there were issues of camshaft retardation on some 10s! Mine I believe is one of those :(
Along with many other QCs my best was 13.9 @ 99 on street tires and spinning through first. :(
I have personally seen two QCs run 13.0 and the other 12.9 one was CAI/Tune/Exhaust (Fahrenheit) the other is bone stock on drag radials!!!! The stock one still races every weekend here in Centex and SHE is consistent 1.9s and 12.9 1/4 mile!!! So from my experience, all Viper Trucks and possibly cars as well, are NOT equal from the factory. Ronnie in Canada has seen this as well and shares a similar view on this matter.

Simple enough is to get it to the track and see. The track tells all truths

Speaking of the stock cams, I read on one of the other forums an old post by MMMMtorque. someone mentioned that just dialing in the factory cam gear netted on his bone stock truck like a 20hp increase with no other mods. Scott, it's the same forum where you also posted the cam I bought from you for sale.
