New Factory Reproductions Viper truck Chrome Twenty Four's

How do they ride? 22's are pretty rough, couldn't imagine the 24's being that much worse ha

That's my black 2000 Lightning with Magnum Powers supercharger. Just another 11 second street truck brother.

How many people have just assumed it was a stockish truck and found out the hard way it isn't?

Ok I'm pretty much done with the visual mods on the truck.

Very nice! Thought I would see a SS454 truck to round out the big3. Of course they weren't mutch of a performer stock

When going to the larger rim did you compensate for the gain with a smaller tire or is the speedo off?

Also where did you get that hitch cover!!!

What is the difference in length from the lug nut to the center of the V in the spoke? The 24" wheels look a lot longer of a distance if you get what I am asking.

I only drove the truck once since I installed the wheels and tires. I didn't notice a difference with the speedo being off.
I bought the hitch cover on ebay 4 years ago. It only came in black so I had mine painted.

I'll measure that for you tomorrow skyy406. I'm home now and I have the 10 at the shop.

The tire to rim size is less important than over all tire height or diameter. Bigger than stock = you will be moving faster than the speedometer needle shows. Smaller than stock size will be opposite. The odometer will also be off.

Height

31.6" stock
32.1" now

The bigger wheels will not effect the speedo accuracy.

Hmm, I went to 45 instead of the stock 40's and it did indeed change my speedo. At 80 mph, by GPS phone app, my speedo reads 78. A very nice State Trooper verified that for me also----with a citation. :D

If the overall height increases then the speedo is affected. Tom put these big ass tires on the back of the truck and when I have the speedometer set at 70 mph the gps shows I am going 76 mph.

On the same road with the same gps in my wifes escalade with stock wheels and tires 70 = 70.
